Paul Elie chooses the material and writes the texts. He wrote The Life You Save May Be Your Own, a group portrait of the American Catholic writers Flannery O'Connor Walker Percy, Thomas Merton, and Dorothy Day. He also wrote Reinventing Bach, the story of the transformation of J.S. Bach’s music in our time by great musicians making use of new technology. He writes for the Times, the Atlantic, Commonweal, etc. He’s a senior fellow in Georgetown’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs.
